The Golden Ball

The pub is a traditional corner Victorian local that offers real ales.

The pub dates originally from the 1880's. It had a glazed brick exterior and was revamped by John Smith's brewery in the 1920's.

The pub has maintained the original layout of the public vault or taproom that holds the bar. It also has an intriguing bar side "snug" for those cosier moments. They also still have a bar billiards table.

There is a beer garden for the summer, live music nights and games evenings.

Seating is traditional long wall bench and stools. A floral covering and carpet compliment the traditional ambience.
