The Penny Black  

A Stonegate group pub just on the periphery of Tamworth centre.

There is a single large room with a raised area. A large screen shows sports as well.

They are open very early for breakfast and it rivals the Wetherspon further down the hill for value.

They serve two regular and two guest ales. A real cider is available.

Food is served here throughout the day and there are special 'deals' available in the vein of 'pie and a pint' style.

Children are welcome.

For the summer there is pavement area drinking allowed.
