Moat House  

A Grade II-star listed red brick Tudor mansion dating from 1572 with Dutch-style stepped gable ends.

Inside the decor is traditional, the public bar has a stone fireplace and flag floors. You get the impression you are at a country house with all the objet d'art around the walls and old dark wood furniture.

They serve up to three ales plus keg. They also serve a real cider. No food here unless you are at a function.

There is a large garden to the rear where children are welcome, though they can be inside the public bar areas until 8pm.

Free WiFi is available and dogs are welcome.

There is parking outside.

Opening hours for functions are different to the Public Bar times:

Mon to Thu 8am to 11pm
Fri 8am to 1am (Sat)
Sat 12 to 1am (Sun)
Sun 12 to 8pm
