The Final Whistle

The Final Whistle in Southwell is one of the project William pubs from Everards.

The pub has undergone a complete refurbishment in 2011. Amongst the many period features restored at the pub, is the transformation of the former car park area into an outdoor seating courtyard shaped to look exactly like a 1920’s style railway platform, with the original track from the now closed Southwell rail line running adjacent to the pub.

Inside the bar has been returned to an olde worlde style with wood panelling, including tiled floor. There is also now a quiet reading room and two fireplaces.

They serve up to 10 ales plus 6 ciders.

For the summer there is the beer garden in the style of a railway station.

No car park here, there is limited parking on the street.
