The Old Queen's Head

The Old Queens Head is a Thwaites pub and serves three Thwaites ales are served plus two guest ales. There is also a reasonable selection of continental bottled beers.

Food is served here with speciality nights at discount prices - see website for fuller details. Serving times are Monday to Saturday 12-9pm and Sunday 12-4pm.

The Old Queen's Head occupies the oldest domestic building in the city. It is a timber framed building dating from around 1475. The building was given Grade II* listed status in 1952. The Queen in the pub's name is likely Mary, Queen of Scots, who was imprisoned in Sheffield from 1570 to 1584.

As a timber framed building it is more interesting inside than most pubs.
