The Mare Pool  

A Wetherspoons pub in part of a 1970s shopping precinct.

It is the usual open planned layout with a large silver and black bar.

There is artwork on the walls and a very strange half upside-down person - just the legs - in a large planter. Glass droplets hang everywhere from the ceilings. Furniture is modern living room, but there are some half booths and glass screens dotted throughout.

They serve up to 4 guest ales, with four regulars.

They also serve food here, but with the times it is not as cheap as it used to be.

There is cafe-style seating outside the front, and an enclosed beer terrace to the side.
