The Flintgate  

Part of the Big Smoke Brewing Co pubs.

The building itself is 100 plus years old and is now named after a gateway that existed within the old Oatlands Estate as part of the mansion’s formal gardens.

The pub is on a corner by the Oatlands Park Recreation Ground.

Inside the bar curves around the corner, with the bar to the right when you enter. Recently refurbished and painted, it has wooden floors, panelling and half painted walls.

They can serve up to 3 real ales with one always from Big Smoke. An additional 18 keg taps available, plus real ciders. Ask for the CAMRA member discount.

Food is served here Monday to Saturday from noon until 9.30pm and on Sunday from noon to 9pm.

There is music here, but at least it is Vinyl records.

There is a quiz night Sunday.

For the summer there is a garden and you can park here. Children welcome until 8pm.

Dogs welcome
